express-click.com and express-reward.com sends out spam

Posted on December 19th, 2006 in , , by SpamFinder

Express-click.com and express-reward.com sends out unsolicited spam. The following message was sent and was not masked at all. It’s funny when the spammers are stupid enough to not even hide their real identity. Look closely at all the xxxxxxx’s. I have replaced the unique numbers with these xxxxxx’s so the company could not trace the email back to me. It’s called phishing. If you forward or reply to the email, they have a a system which immediately lets them know who you are! By replying, you let them know that there is a real person at your email address. They will certainly NOT send you a Home Depot gift card, but they WILL send you a lot more spam!

Paris Hilton Spam

Posted on December 11th, 2006 in by SpamFinder

What does Paris Hilton have to do with Spam? NOTHING. But a message about Paris Hilton is more likely to be opened by adolescents wanting to buy stock in AMSN. What is Amerossi International Group? Apparently it’s a low budget fly by night company greedy enough to spam horny teenagers in order to get attention!

What a deal! You better jump on that stock NOW!

Posted on December 11th, 2006 in by SpamFinder

Before we even start, please make yourself aware of the Classic Nigerian Email scams found on snopes.com:

http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeria.asp

Now, on to another of the thousands of versions of the same spam scam theme:

Mr. Richard Khoza.
Director of Projects
Department of Minerals & Energy
Pretoria South Africa.
Fax: +27- 86 516 9900
Fax: +27- 86 516 9351

Attention: President/CEO

I write, asking for your indulgence in re-profiling funds to tune of Fifty
Million, Eight Hundred Thousand United States Dollars(US$52.8M) which we
want kept safely overseas under your supervision.

In other words, we would like you to receive the said funds on our behalf.
The Funds were derived over time from a project awarded to a foreign firm
by my Department, and presently the actual contract cost have been paid to
the original project executors, leaving the balance in the tune of the
said amount which we have in principle obtained approval to remit
overseas.

Kindly pardon the use of a medium as informal as this for reaching out to
you to make a request of great importance to us.

Currently, I work as a Director of Projects at the Department of Minerals
& Energy here in Pretoria South Africa. I have the authority and approval
of my partners involved in this transaction to negotiate a suitable
compensation for your participation and I propose 32.2 percent for you,
while we also propose that we receive 56.6 percent and 11.2 percent are
earmarked for purposes of taxation and other expenses.

This endeavor has a minimal risk factor on your part provided you treat it
with the utmost discretion. You are advised to reach me through my private
fax for more information.

I am available via fax to discuss further with you. I kindly wait to hear
from you.

Yours Sincerely,
Mr. Richard Khoza.

Spammer phone number

Posted on December 9th, 2006 in by SpamFinder

A very ambitious group of spammers gives out their phone number in the body of the spam message. They send unsolicited emails saying how much more money you can make if you get a degree, and they give a phone number to call: 213-596-5770. So I called it and got a recording. Would you be stupid enough to spam millions of people then give them your phone number? This company is.

Now before you go calling them, be careful! Many spammers are out to get your phone number! If you call them they can record your Caller ID and then sell your number to other unruly people.
